An 86″ Sailfish Starts The Day

Filed under: Fishing Reports — admin @ 9:29 pm

When Victor from Long Island woke up on Thursday morning and looked out of his hotel window, he thought to himself what a beautiful day to go fishing with Captain Joe. When the phone rang, Joe and his wife Sandy were just relaxing on their couch enjoying their morning coffee and watching Good Morning America. Victor said “hey Captain Joe” do you want to go fishing today? Captain Joe never passes up a day to go fishing, well, unless the weather is really bad.

The day was beautiful, the wind was out of the south and the seas were two to three feet. The first fish to be caught and released by Victor was an 86 inch sailfish. It put on quite a show by jumping five or six times.

Victor also caught a sixty inch wahoo, blackfin tuna and some dolphin.

We hope to talk to you again soon.
